It’s officially Elizabeth and Caleb’s wedding month, and what better way to celebrate than with a feature on the Brides of North Texas blog! For their engagement session, we visited a few of their favorite (and mine as well) spots across Dallas capturing this sweet couple that loves to laugh.
Normally you wouldn’t think of finding love in a hospital, but Elizabeth is an ICU Nurse and met Caleb during his Pharmacy residency at a hospital. Their first date is a classic Dallas love story – dinner at Terilli’s on Greenville followed by drinks at HG Supply. Their attraction was immediate and after hours of conversation and laughter, it was clear a second date needed to happen. It’s exciting to think that in just two weeks we’ll be celebrating their wedding at The Chapel at Ana Villa.
For their Dallas engagement session, we started the day at the Dallas Arboretum and captured the couple in several of the venue’s photo-perfect areas. Seriously, if you’re looking for a place to take engagement photos in Dallas, this is the place to do so. There are endless options of places to pose or take candid shots, and no matter what season it is, you’re bound to get beautiful photos. We happened to catch The Dallas Blooms event so the Arboretum was truly in all its glory.
We then did a quick trip over to Trinity Groves to capture these two with the iconic Dallas skyline in the background. This location is quickly becoming one of the most popular spots in Dallas for photo shoots for couples and families.
In addition to their great locations, Elizabeth and Caleb chose outfits that were perfect for the camera. If you’re looking for outfit recommendation (for him or her), I offer an Engagement Style Guide for my couples to get the best out of their engagement experience. These two coordinated colors for both of their looks and picked pieces that fit their smart and fun personalities perfectly.
